After work today I decided to pop into my local Harmon’s for a few things that are not available at my local Walgreens and CVS.
Harmon’s features a ton of great drugstore brands that can be harder to find like LA Girl, NYX, MUA, and Prestige Cosmetics.
NYX Cosmetics Baked Blush in Chiffon $6.99
Everyone raves about NYX as a great drugstore brand and I have been looking to see what all the fuss is about.
StyleWurks Ultimate Blending Makeup Sponge $4.99
I am so excited that I finally found a blending sponge that is not $20.00! I like to splurge but I cannot justify spending that much on this thing. Especially since they can get gross after about two months. I am not sure if the application is any different but it will fun to try.
Prestige Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black/Brown $5.79
I actually wanted to get the rimmel liquid liner but saw that they didn’t carry it. I have been using gel liner for a while but felt that liquid is a lot easier to apply. I chose black/brown since I’m so pale that black would just not look good on me. I have tried to rock black like the girls who like the pinup look but so far it has been a huge fail!
Olay Fresh Effects Makeup Removal Cloths $4.99
The biggest thing that baffles me is that people are willing to spend to much on makeup remover wipes. I have yet to see a difference in the brands. However, these makeup wipes smell AMAZING!
I also have been wanting a beauty blender FOREVER but do not have the heart to spend $20 on essentially a sponge.
