Philosophy’s Tinted Moisturizer Has Changed My Face Routine Forever

DSC_0901

I have been spending the last few months transforming my skincare regimen and realized that I was not tailoring my makeup to reflect that. I used to cake on my foundation and concealer to cover up my imperfections. Now that my skin has improved dramatically I didn’t need the full coverage foundation I once had.

I have never had a good experience with tinted moisturizer, I found that it left my skin oily and I could not find the proper shade EVER. I’ll be honest, winter is probably not the best time to look for a tinted moisturizer during a time when dry flaky skin and redness is more common. If you are anything like me, there are times when the dry patches on your face are amplified with makeup….sigh.

HOWEVER, I have found a solution thanks to Philosophy and the lovely ladies at Sephora. I would have never looked to Philosophy for my makeup needs, but I have been proven wrong. Philosophy is more than just fun body washes and mild face washes.

Introducing the “No Reason To Hide” Skin Tone Perfecting Moisturizer aka my new fav thing. This lightweight moisturizer glides on easily and covered up my red spots flawlessly without looking cakey. It is a light coverage with spf 20 that smooths out the skin and minimizes the look of pores (my biggest skin problem).

I am so happy to have my makeup regimen cut in half and still have my skin looking luminous and natural.
