Sheet Mask Series: Innisfree “It’s Real Squeeze Mask: Bija”

I made the mistake of sleeping with my makeup on and woke up to some brand new breakouts. Before I started using Korean skincare products and being more strict about my skincare, I used to sleep in my makeup all the time. My skin was full of acne and looked horrible.

I had tried everything from tea tree oil to salicylic acid, but this sheet mask introduced a new acne fighter called bija.

What is bija? Research online lead to everything from yoga chants to cooking oils. From what I could gather it is the oil from a nut similar to the nutmeg. The oil has amazing healing properties for agitated skin without drying it out.

The thing I love the most about the Innisfree masks is that they feel amazing when you put them on. This mask was no different. This mask is a bit more difficult to unfold and put on and they do slip a bit so it is better to just sit back and relax until you’re done.

I love that this mask is unscented and does not dry out at all. There is a perfect amount of serum and when I woke up the next day, I noticed that my blemishes were diminished greatly.

I honestly love love love Innisfree masks and can see myself buying and reviewing more. If it is your first time buying a mask I highly recommend to try these first.
