Fall Festivus for Those of Us Who Love Black

I really honestly try to get excited about bright cheery colors and I often attempt to wear them. But when you are someone who considers deep red a “bright” color, it can a challenge.

Black is a color, my favorite to wear actually. Although I sometimes look casket ready when I wear black against my pale skin, I really don’t care. I am one in a million in the garden state when it comes to skin that has never seen a tanning bed; partially because I’m terrified of burning myself beyond recognition. I am look like the blonde Elvira or Wednesday Adams (my spirit animal) and I LOVE IT!

To give you a taste of my love of dark colors, I wore this outfit to dinner last night.

I decided to go for something different with my nails. This design was done at Polished Nail Lounge in New Jersey. I chose a half moon with a burgundy and deep gray in gel. Definitely excited to try a matte black for next time.

Curtis is another fan of my favorite color.
