My Blush For Fall: Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Truth

2014-09-30 20.12.40

It saddens me to put away my favorite coral blush from Kat Von D in preparation for colder temps on the east coast. I become very pale in the winter which used to cause me to stray away from blush in fears of looking like a clown.

But I didn’t lose hope, instead I ran to Sephora. After talking to the employee who is the only male but had the most KILLER eye makeup on the planet…we decided that no blush would make me look “casket ready.”

We headed off to Kat Von D. The tattoo artist is known for highly pigmented and long wearing makeup or what I call “Makeup that actually does what it’s supposed to.” In addition to concealers, foundations, eyeliners, etc. Kat’s blush is becoming a clut favorite.

A perfect shade for fall for all my fellow pale ladies is Kat Von D’s Everlasting Blush in the shade Truth. The color is a very natural looking pink that provides the perfect flush to cheeks. I have been wearing this shade everyday to work and I love the soft warmth it provides. Something to note, since her blushes are highly pigmented they may require you to blend. 2014-09-30 20.16.35

Fingers crossed that Kat plans to release even more shades sometime soon!
