Product Review: Lush Cosmetics “Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze Hair Treatment”

2014-06-30 20.45.05

My recent vacation exposed my hair to an abundance of sun and salt water leaving my hair looking a bit thirsty. I was ready to simply browse the aisles of the drug store for something cheap, but realized that putting chemicals in my hair was just as bad.

This led me back to Lush! Known for their handmade cosmetics and all natural ingredients, Lush has never let me down with their products!

Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze (best name for a hair treatment ever) is great for those who want a deep condition, smooth and shine but don’t necessarily have extensive breakage or need an intensely moisturizing mask. While I am a natural blonde and this mask is created for all hair types, Lush says that it is particularly great for dark and red hair. All hair types are welcome to try this product but it is particularly great on curly hair. The coolest ingredient is the red henna infusion which gives hair a ton of shine and shows off your natural highlights, who knew??? Also, for my vegan friends this is a 100% vegan product!

How do I know all this you may ask? I am literally reading it from the container as I type ๐Ÿ™‚

The main goal of this product for me was to provide shine, softness and combat frizz. The woman at the store informed me that it will take around two weeks and this is my first time trying it but so far I love it! I already feel my hair getting softer and it still smells amazing even though its dry now.

One important thing to note is that this is meant to be put on DRY hair for twenty minutes BEFORE you jump into the shower. I almost didn’t read the directions and would’ve completely messed the whole thing up. ย I prefer this method instead of having the get my hair wet in the shower, put the mask on, get out of the shower, wait twenty minutes etc. etc.

  1. I’ve never heard of a mask you put on BEFORE the shower! I definitely want to try this – my hair is always super dry and I’ll be going camping soon so it’ll only get worse haha! Thanks for sharing!
