Product Review: Lush Cosmetics Sugar Scrub

lushscrub

After a bad sunburn at the beach my skin has been dry and in need of a good scrub. But I am weary of body scrubs on my sensitive skin and have yet to find one that gets rid of dead skin and bumps without irritating my skin.

I purchased the Lush Cosmetics Sugar Scrub on a recent trip to the mall. This scrub is a part of their “Naked” collection which means zero packaging, and better for the environment. While I appreciate that it makes the product cheaper, I do wish that there was something that I could place it in when I finished using it.

This scrub is great for sensitive skin, sugar is a lot less abrasive than sea salt or crushed nuts. Ingredients include fair trade sugar, ginger root, fennel, fennel oil, and lavender oil which gives the scrub an amazing smell! Not only is this scrub perfect for getting rid or dead skin but also cellulite!

Overall, I really enjoyed how my skin felt after using it and the price point is perfection!

  1. I also have fairly sensitive skin and it’s so bumpy and dry after waxing – so annoying! I’d buy this in an instant but my bath & sink won’t fit anymore soggy ‘naked’ Lush products lol

I love LUSH products. Too bad there’s no container for it.

I usually make my own sugar scrubs, but I love Lush products! 🙂
