Behold! I Have Found My Lip Color for Summer

Scouring the aisles in Sephora, usually leaves me buying things I don’t need or are way to expensive for what they are. Finding the perfect lip color is something that is in my opinion, the most difficult makeup purchase. Lipstick usually melts off, lip gloss feels weird, and I’m still not 100% sure what lip stain really does.

This has left me a jaded consumer who nearly gave up lip color and stuck with my Burt’s Bees. I was fine with this plan until I wandered over to the Tarte counter. I have used their products in the past and love Tarte’s mission of eco-friendly and cruelty-free beauty line without sacrificing quality.

I purchased the Tarte Power Pigment in Fearless, a pink coral shade perfect for my fair skin! Power Pigment comes in 8 shades that allow you to take your lip color from natural to dramatic. The best part about this lip color? It lasts without feeling sticky!

While I did need to touch up once, I felt that the color stayed vibrant and smooth all day long. While I usually am not one to spend more than $15 on a lipstick, for $24 this stuff lasts and is worth a little extra cash.
