Your guide to buying makeup…from Etsy

The site known for online mom and pop shops that sell everything from embroidered pillows to hand painted picture frames, is slowly becoming the new place to buy your lipsticks and blushes.

While you may be turned off from buying your makeup online, especially from people you don’t know, think of it this way. You are buying directly from the person who creates the makeup and knows everything that goes into making to the product.

That being said they may know what is going into the product but they are just not telling you. There have been instances in the past when certain companies on Etsy were shut down for putting ingredients in their products that were not FDA approved. The idea that some smaller companies do in fact make the makeup in their kitchen is a big no no for certain consumers.

But if you want be adventurous and trust the judgement of very loyal customers, than here are some companies you should check out!
